What are y'all doing for the 4th? Summer vacations planned this year? Staying out of the floods and fires?? Let's catch up!!
Here the wedding is over, honeymoon finished, and we took two week excursion over to Colorado to see the kids' new home and bring them all their wedding thangs. If you would like to view a slideshow of the wedding you can see it here. We had a bit of a heatwave that weekend (102!), but everything turned out great despite it!
Stef and Jeff have a great new home and have made a very nice life for themselves in Denver. Hog and I loved the state very much, though he much preferred the slower pace (okay let's just say what it really is "FISHING") in Ft. Collins to the bustle of the Denver suburbs. He said he could definitely live there, vs. California, and would move if he found a job there. Stefanie loves Colorado, but misses her family and will be job hunting for her dad on a refular basis if I know her... LOL. As for me, I have to admit I liked it there a great deal, however there is the lil matter of snow in winter, so jury still out here...
For the 4th weekend we are going to have a graduation party for my son, as through all the wedding hoopla he did manage to graduate high school. Don't want him to think it went unnoticed!
Meanwhile let's hear wasssuuup with y'all :-)

The move itself went great. I was sick off and on the entire
trip..puking..headache..miserable. Frank said it was my nerves. I think I had a touch of something. We are LOVING Alabama. We're still in corporate
housing and usually spend the day at the pool. We quickly found out about Alabama heat. It's up there with hell, chicken pot pies and Texas at labor day.
We have given up on house hunting for a now until we sell our house back in WV. We will be moving into an apartment in a town a little north of Montgomery
called Prattville. We're told they have the best schools in Alabama. Montgomery schools are war zones and there is NO WAY I'm sending my kids there.
So we'll be moving again in the next two weeks. Kayla is coming down for a long weekend tomorrow and we're soooooo excited to have her visit. I've
missed her like crazy and it' going to be great having her here. We are taking her to the beach for a day or two while shes here. It's gonna be
great. Frank is loving his job at Hyundai. He's home at night now..which is great. The kids have adjusted well...and having gotten over my guilt of
leaving my family, I'm starting to adjust as well.

Congrats
congrats congrats....... I am very proud of you...... you should have a smile on your face in the second pic though.........
